The ash was not washed but the water was changed 3 times after mixing. Some of the glazes were mixed with a kitchen sieve with large holes, and gave interesting speckles. Some were mixed with an 80 mesh sieve

Firing was done to 1260c with no soak, in an electric kiln on a pale stoneware clay. Gloves and masks must be used as the ash is caustic when mixed with water and the dust shouldn't be inhaled.
