Sawdust firing June 05
| We used tins with holes made in the sides and fired
on the roof. using sawdust and pine needles. When the fire died down, a
lid was placed on top and allowed to smoke all night. Some pieces had oxides painted on before the first firing, and others had salt, string and copper wire or leaves wound round. |
